PROGRAMME FOR ACTIVE LEARNING
The Programme for Active Learning, or PAL, is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, since 2010. It aims to develop character and useful life-skills by providing Primary School students with early exposure to different modular activities in Sports and Games, Outdoor Education, as well as the Performing and Visual Arts. In this way, PAL helps to balance the current academic-heavy curriculum and facilitates the well-rounded development of students, bringing learning beyond the confinements of a classroom.

With almost two decades of experience in providing high-quality dance education to schools and students of all ages, Moving Arts is well positioned to provide in-depth and customized dance programmes required to deliver the benefits of PAL. Our dance programmes provide strong contextual information in pedagogical content, focusing on the 3 processes of appreciation, creation and performance in the art of dance, guided by professionally trained instructors holding specialized qualifications in the areas of dance and education.

OBJECTIVES OF PAL
  1. To provide an avenue for pupils to develop their character and social emotional competencies through socio-emotional learning

  3. To facilitate the well-rounded development of pupils in the 5 learning domains (cognitive, moral, social, aesthetics, physical)
